TRAFFIC ALERT - Kent County - SR 1 Lane Nighttime Closures
SR 1 Lane Nighttime Closures
Milford - The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces nighttime lane closures and ramp detours on SR 1 northbound and southbound in the area of Rt 36/Cedar Beach Road for roadway repair work. Nighttime lane closures will be in place on SR 1 northbound and southbound from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday, May 17 and Monday May 18th. The Route 36 ramp to northbound SR 1 will be closed during these hours, with motorists directed to follow posted detour signage.
Detour - Motorist wanting to take S36 ramp northbound will continue west on Cedar Beach Rd to N. Rehoboth Blvd making a right hand turn, then right on N.E. Front Street to the ramp northbound onto SR 1.
Motorists are reminded to slow down in work zones and to expect minor delays while traveling in the area.
