Working Visit of Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze to Singapore, 21 to 23 July 2026
Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze is making a Working Visit to Singapore from 21 to 23 July 2026. Prime Minister Kobakhidze called on President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and met with Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on 22 July 2026.
Prime Minister Wong and Prime Minister Kobakhidze affirmed the warm relations between Singapore and Georgia, and discussed how to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest including in trade and connectivity. Prime Minister Wong welcomed Georgia's interest to increase its engagement of ASEAN. Both leaders also agreed on the importance of maintaining a rules-based international order.
During Prime Minister Kobakhidze's call on President Tharman this morning, they discussed domestic and international developments, and possible areas of cooperation and growth, including in connectivity, education, tourism and people-to-people exchanges.
Prime Minister Kobakhidze will meet Speaker of Parliament Seah Kian Peng, and depart Singapore on 23 July 2026.
