VADOC, Law Enforcement Partners Searching for Inmate who Walked Off Property in Greensville County

October 10, 2025

RICHMOND - The Virginia Department of Corrections (VADOC) and partner law enforcement agencies are actively searching for a male Deerfield Men's Work Center #2 inmate who walked off VADOC farm property Friday afternoon at Greensville Correctional Complex in Greensville County.

Jeremy Paul Bushey, 27, walked off the property at approximately 1:15 p.m. while working.

Bushey is a 5'9" tall white male, is 188 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. Bushey is currently serving a 2 year, 7 month sentence for burglary, grand larceny, and shoplifting.

Anyone who sees Bushey is urged to dial 911. If you have any information about his whereabouts, dial 804-305-8863.
