Screenings begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, and Saturday, Feb. 7, in the Center for Performing Arts Film/Video Lab Theatre (Room 1039).
The Festival of New Student Works begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, and Saturday, Feb. 7.
Students serve as writers, directors, actors and designers as well as cinematographers, grips and managers for each of the more than a dozen works featured each evening of the Festival of New Student Works. This year's works cover genres including animation, narrative, documentary and experimental.
"The Festival of New Student Works is a valuable learning opportunity for our students," said Stephen Sakowski, chair of the Department of Theatre and Film. "Undergraduates at all levels of study developed these works both independently and through their department courses, and we're excited for them to share the results of their hard work with audiences."
Tickets for each day are $10 in advance via the Tix.com UToledo website or at the box office before the performance. Student tickets are free with a Rocket ID.
Friday visitor parking requires payment via the ParkMobile app, a parking meter or a daily permit via ParkUToledo. Parking permits are not enforced after 5 p.m. Saturdays, excluding disability, metered and reserved spaces.
