After a three-decade hiatus, Triangle Fraternity, a premier STEM-focused fraternity, is returning to the Oklahoma State University campus and accepting new members for fall 2026.
"The return of Triangle Fraternity is a significant step in the continued expansion and growth of our Greek community," said Dr. Johnny Robinson, director of student involvement. "Triangle reflects the academic breadth of OSU and will provide a specialized focus on professional development for STEM students, ensuring they have the support to thrive both at OSU and in their future careers."
Founded in 1907 at the University of Illinois, Triangle Fraternity is a unique fraternal organization for men majoring in science, technology, engineering and mathematics-related fields.
By blending the traditional fraternal experience and the specific focus on STEM careers and professional development, Triangle provides a tailored environment for its members.
This approach pays off. Nationwide, Triangle chapters consistently achieve the highest overall GPA of all IFC chapters at their respective universities.
Those who pledge Triangle Fraternity for the upcoming academic year will have the distinct honor of being a founding member of the renewed OSU Chapter.
Interested students are invited to participate in the IFC's traditional recruitment process, which follows the general structure of receiving and accepting bids. To learn more about the recruitment process and requirements, visit the IFC Recruitment page here.
Triangle Fraternity will also be hosting an event at Greek Discovery Day on March 28. The event will be held at the College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology's Endeavor Lab 160 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with food and refreshments provided. This will provide current and prospective OSU students the opportunity to meet the team and learn more about Triangle's return to campus. Learn more or register for Greek Discovery Day here.
