Eastbound slow lane of WV 25 closed near Institute exit beginning Monday, July 27, 2026
The eastbound slow lane of WV 25 will be closed, near the Institute Exit entrance ramp of Interstate 64, beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2026, to allow for the relocation of a utility line. Work could take up to 60 days.
The utility line is being moved to make room for a roundabout project at the Institute exit interchange. In July, West Virginia Paving Inc. was awarded a contract for $5.4 million to build a roundabout at the interchange.
