Broward Blvd & SE 15th Ave Dual Left Lane Project

The City of Fort Lauderdale and Heavy Civil, Inc. are making improvements to the intersection at E. Broward Boulevard and SE 15th Avenue. A new dual left-turn lane will be added for northbound traffic on SE 15th Avenue. The work includes:

• Lane modifications
• Roadway and Pavement Work
• Signing and Pavement Markings
• Signal Modifications
• Concrete and Landscape Work

Construction will begin on Monday, May 4, 2026, and is expected to be completed by September 2026. Work will take place Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Traffic Impacts

• Broward Boulevard and SE 15th Avenue will remain open to local traffic during construction, with partial lane closures in place as needed.
• Traffic control personnel will direct traffic near the work area during work hours.
• Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.
