Six Penn State Altoona swimmers earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Six student-athletes from the Penn State Altoona swimming program were recognized for their academic excellence on April 7 when the College Sports Communicators released their NCAA Division III Academic All-District swim teams.

To be eligible for a spot on an Academic All-District team in swimming, student-athletes must meet certain academic and athletic requirements. Academically, student-athletes must be at least sophomores while holding cumulative grade-point averages of 3.5 or higher. Athletically, swimmers must have competed in at least 75 percent of their team's competitions or finish top-eight at a conference meet. Nominators could submit up to four qualified student-athletes per team.

The six Penn State Altoona swimming student-athletes named to the CSC Academic All-District teams are listed below.
