DGA Statement on Joe Lombardo's Failed Attempt to Shut Down Tonight's Gubernatorial Debate After Refusing to Show

After Joe Lombardo's ally attempted to revoke access to tonight's debate venue in a desperate attempt to cancel the nonpartisan debate that Lombardo refused to show up to in the first place, DGA Deputy Communications Director Johanna Warshaw released the following statement:

"Joe Lombardo is so afraid of Attorney General Aaron Ford holding him accountable for his record of making life more expensive for Nevada families and cozying up to Donald Trump that he didn't just refuse to show up to tonight's gubernatorial debate - he tried to shut down the entire thing. That's not leadership - it's cowardice, and it's yet another reason why Nevadans will send Lombardo and his cost-raising agenda packing in November."
