Sertich Ice Center will temporarily close from June 19 through July 12 while crews complete an ice rebuild project and perform facility maintenance designed to enhance the skating experience for the community.
During the closure, all public skating sessions, drop-in activities and ice programs will be suspended. The facility is expected to reopen July 13.
The ice rebuild project replaces the facility's ice surface and allows staff to complete important facility maintenance that supports safe and efficient operations.
"These improvements are an important investment in the long-term quality of the facility and the experience we provide to our community," said Park Operations Administrator Andrew Rummel. "We appreciate our skaters' patience while this work is completed and look forward to welcoming everyone back to fresh ice and an improved facility this summer."
