About KC Futures:
The KC Futures Commission is a leadership program that gives youth a platform to participate in local government. Members meet regularly to discuss issues, learn about City decision-making, and collaborate on policy ideas reflecting their community experiences. The Commission believes early civic engagement is crucial. When young people are involved in local decisions, they become informed, confident citizens capable of creating change in Kansas City and beyond.
