The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is planning two public information meetings on November 4 and November 5 to present proposed culvert and bridge projects scheduled to take place in Allegany County next year.

The first session will be held on Wednesday, November 4, and pertains to a proposed project to replace the culvert that carries State Route 275 over Little Genesee Creek in the Town of Wirt. The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Wirt Town Hall, 210 Main Street, Richburg, N.Y. 14774. NYSDOT will host the second session on Thursday, November 5, pertaining to a proposed rehabilitation project on the bridge that carries State Route 961F over the Norfolk Southern Railway tracks in the Town of Burns. The open-house style meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Burns Town Hall, 87 Main Street, Canaseraga, N.Y. 14822 and will provide an opportunity for discussion with NYSDOT representatives, who will be available to answer questions.
