City Of Las Vegas Helps Families Plan Ahead

For Spring Break And Early Heat

Select Splash Pads Will Temporarily Open Through Spring Break

With spring break approaching and unseasonably warm temperatures in the forecast, the city of Las Vegas is helping families stay cool, active and prepared by opening splash pads at parks across the city and offering a variety of youth spring break camp opportunities.

In response to unseasonably warm temperatures, the city will temporarily open water-play areas at the following parks Friday, March 13, through Monday, March 23:

  • Ward 1 - Rainbow Family Park, 7151 W. Oakey Blvd.
  • Ward 2 - All-American Park, 1551 S. Buffalo Drive
  • Ward 3 - East Las Vegas Family Park, 4480 E. Washington Ave.
  • Ward 4 - Trigono Hills Park, 3805 Cliff Shadows Parkway
  • Ward 5 - Kianga Isoke Palacio Park at Doolittle Complex, 951 W. Lake Mead Blvd.
  • Ward 6 - Centennial Hills Park, 7101 N. Buffalo Drive

Splash pads are free and open to the public during park hours. Families are encouraged to practice sun safety by bringing water, sunscreen and hats.

Additionally, two indoor city pools will be available for open swim. Open swim will be available at Municipal Pool, 431 E. Bonanza Road, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20. Open swim will be available at Pavilion Pool, 101 S. Pavilion Center Drive, from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 14 and Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20 from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Swimming rates are $2 for ages 4-17 and 50+; $3 for adults; free for ages 3 and younger.

The city also offers 2026 Spring Break Kids Camp for youth in kindergarten through eighth grade at six community centers across the city. Camp runs Monday-Friday, March 16-20, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Campers will participate in age-appropriate arts and crafts, sports, games, music, life skills activities, nutrition education and physical fitness, all supervised by trained staff.
