The U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Environmental Management issued a draft request for proposal for the Hanford Site's 222-S Laboratory procurement.

June 25, 2026CINCINNATI - The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Environmental Management (EM) today issued a draft request for proposal for the Hanford Site's 222-S Laboratory procurement.
DOE requires a contractor to perform analytical and operational requirements for Hanford tank waste and environmental sample analysis, facility upkeep, and regulatory compliance to support the laboratory's overall mission at the site, including:
The procurement will be conducted as a total small business set-aside competition. The North American Industry Classification System code for this requirement is 562910, "Environmental Remediation Services," and the small-business size standard is 1,000 employees.
A dedicated webpage has been established for the procurement. The draft request for proposal will also be posted on SAM.gov.
