INSIDE EDITION Gets an Exclusive Look Inside Richard Simmons' Former Hollywood Home

October 29, 2026 - In an interview airing tonight, INSIDE EDITION gets an exclusive look inside the Hollywood mansion once owned by the late Richard Simmons. The property recently sold for $3.8 million, well below its original $7 million asking price. New owner John Rohan gives INSIDE EDITION viewers access to home's eccentric décor and personal touches that remain years after Simmons stepped away from the public eye.

Rohan shares his first impressions of the property's features, including unique columns, vibrant colors, sculptures and even headstones marking where Simmons' Dalmatians are buried. "When I first walked in, I saw these beautiful fireplaces, I saw the beautiful pool, the key-shaped pool. Very unusual, very old Hollywood," Rohan says.

"He lived a full life here. Although the last 10 years of his life were quiet, he gave so much to the world. He probably wanted peace, and this is a very peaceful life," he adds.
