Athens, Ga. (August 18, 2026) - Landmark Properties, a fully-integrated real estate investment firm specializing in the development, construction, acquisition, and operation of high-quality residential communities, has acquired The Domain at Oxford, a 642-bed, purpose-built student housing community at 2002 Oxford Way in Oxford, Miss, just one mile south of the University of Mississippi. The community was purchased in a joint venture with Liberty Mutual Investments, the investment firm for Liberty Mutual Group. Peninsula Investments also partnered on the transaction, adding to their investments across Landmark's portfolio. The transaction was brokered by Walker & Dunlop with TSB Capital assisting with financing.
"Landmark celebrates the addition of The Domain at Oxford to its portfolio," said JD Goering, Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Landmark Properties. "Ole Miss has reported record enrollment numbers over the last few years, and on-campus residence hall spaces and off-campus supply haven't kept pace with that demand. The Domain at Oxford's variety of unit and amenity offerings make it a top choice for those attending the University of Mississippi."
Built in 2016, The Domain at Oxford offers 216 units with a mix of one-, two-, and four-bedroom floorplans. The units feature modern, high-end finishes such as hardwood-style flooring, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and walk-in closets. Each apartment comes fully furnished, has in-unit laundry, and offers a bed to bath parity.
Amenities include a large clubhouse with a fitness center, golf simulator, study rooms, and a screening theatre. Outdoor offerings are rounded out by a resort-style pool and deck, basketball and sand volleyball courts, and recreational green space. The gated community offers parking for 756 vehicles.
Landmark is committed to Oxford. Earlier this year, it announced plans to build The Station at Oxford, an 817-bed student housing development on Oxford Way that is anticipated to deliver for the 2027-2028 academic year.
