"Today, the City of Grande Prairie joins communities across Alberta in expressing our deepest sympathies following the tragic incident at CFB Wainwright.
On behalf of the City of Grande Prairie, our thoughts are with the Wainwright community, the military personnel and emergency responders involved, and the families and loved ones of everyone affected.
During this incredibly difficult time, Grande Prairie stands alongside Wainwright, offering our support, compassion and solidarity.
In recognition of those affected, flags at City facilities will be lowered to half-mast."
