News Release: 6/26/2026 PAC Corporate Pickleball Challenge

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our most popular MLP-style team pickleball leagues, for local corporations. This exciting new league will feature teams composed of two men and two women. Time to see how your company stacks up on the pickleball court. Matches will take place over five weeks, from 7 PM to 9 PM. Starting October 1, 2026.

Here's how the league will work:

* **Format:** Each team will compete against another in a "Match." A Match consists of four "Games": one women's doubles game, one men's doubles game, and two mixed doubles games.

* **Schedule:** This will be a round-robin league, with each team playing two Matches per week for four weeks. The season will culminate in playoffs during week five to determine the league champion.

* **Scoring:** We will be using an innovative Four Quarter scoring system. Each game will be played in four 12-minute quarters. At the end of each quarter, the existing score will carry over to the start of the next. For example, if the women's doubles game ends the first quarter at 15-11, the men's doubles game will begin with that score. The final scores are expected to be high, creating fast-paced and action-packed Matches.

* **Tie-breaker:** If a Match is tied after four quarters, a Golden Ball-Sudden Death tie-breaker will be used. The players from the quarter with the closest score differential will compete in the tie-breaker. They will play one point, whoever wins that point, wins the game, wins the tie-breaker.

We believe this new format will provide a dynamic and engaging experience for all participants.

* **Duration:** 5-week season, consisting of 4 weeks of regular season matches (2 matches per night) followed by a championship week where all teams will participate.

* **Teams:** Each team should consist of two male and two female player. Up to 8 teams in this league. Please provide your team name and members names when registering.

* **Scoring:** MLP scoring, moving the serve, not the person. No limit on the score, just a limit on time. If you want to switch, it must be announced to other team.

* **Cost :** $300 Per team.

* **Team names are a must, team uniforms are a bonus!
