Rep. Ciscomani Preliminarily Secures $42.7 Million for 20 AZ-06 Projects, Delivering Critical Community Investments for FY2027

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Representative Juan Ciscomani announced today that he has preliminarily secured over $42 million in Community Project Funding for 20 projects in Arizona's Sixth Congressional District across all five counties for Fiscal Year 2027, delivering critical investments across southeastern Arizona, bringing federal resources home to strengthen infrastructure, improve public safety, enhance water systems, and support the long-term growth and success of Southeastern Arizona.

Rep. Juan Ciscomani fought to secure these Community Project Funding investments, urging House leadership to recognize the critical needs of communities across Arizona's 6th district and the lasting impact these projects will have for generations to come. The total of $42,061,200 in funding benefits every corner of the district and various industries, from bolstering women's health initiatives in rural hospitals, to supporting Bisbee-Douglas International Airport Runway Reconstruction, and preliminarily securing more than was requested at $6,761,000 for the city of Eloy's Frontier Mill & Overlay Project Phases II & III.

"As Arizona's sole appropriator in Congress, I have a unique responsibility to fight for Arizona families and ensure their hard-earned tax dollars come back home to strengthen our communities," said Rep. Juan Ciscomani. "For this upcoming fiscal year, I was proud to preliminarily secure $42 million in critical federal investments via Community Project Funding through my role on the Appropriations Committee. From fixing aging infrastructure to supporting essential projects in our rural communities, these funds address real needs and deliver results. And these resources deliver for projects in all 5 counties - Cochise, Graham, Greenlee, Pima, and Pinal. While these projects and funds have passed out of Committee, I will continue fighting to ensure Arizona receives the resources it deserves and that these investments create a lasting impact for families across our state as these bills continue to move through Congress and eventually the President's desk."

In just his first four years in Congress, Congressman Ciscomani has secured more than $61 million in direct Community Project Funding for Arizona's Sixth Congressional District, delivering meaningful investments and ensuring the priorities of local communities are heard in Washington.

Rep. Ciscomani said, "Every dollar preliminarily secured for AZ-06 is a dollar invested back into the hardworking families, communities, and future of southeastern Arizona. I fought to ensure our region had a seat at the table and that our communities' priorities were heard loud and clear. These investments will make a meaningful difference in the lives of Arizonans by strengthening the places we call home and creating new opportunities for families across our district. I will keep fighting to deliver results and ensure Arizona's Sixth Congressional District remains a place where the American Dream is not just promised, but possible for generations to come."
