Friday, Saturday Lane Closures on I-75 Express Lanes at Terrell Mill Rd for Safety Project

ATLANTA METRO - Work crews for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will continue a safety project installing "Wrong Way" driving signage at five locations Cobb and Henry counties. This signage is designed to provide additional alerts to drivers and help reduce wrong way driving accidents on key roadways.

Weather and on-site conditions permitting, one lane will be closed on I-75 Northwest Corridor Express Lanes northbound at Terrell Mill Road in the City of Marietta beginning 11 p.m. on Friday, June 12 until 11 a.m. on Saturday.

As always, motorists traveling in the area are reminded to reduce their speeds in the work zone. Motorists are also encouraged to wear seatbelts, eliminate distractions behind the wheel, and plan their routes before getting on the road. Call 511, visit 511ga.org, or download the Georgia 511 app.
