Route 53 in Butler County Reduced for Bridge Maintenance
SIKESTON― Route 53 in Butler County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance over the Black River.
This section of roadway is located from County Road 647 to County Road 202 near Qulin, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, Nov. 4 through Thursday, Nov. 6 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
