Run. Dodge. Survive. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a spooky good time, this event is for you! Dash through our zombie-infested course in this family-friendly race and try to survive to cross the finish line.

Cosmic Swim Freaky Friday | Friday, Oct. 16 | Henderson Multigenerational Indoor Pool

Dive into a haunted, spooktacular cosmic experience of light and sound. Don't be scared, all ghouls and gals are welcome.

Spooky Birds | Saturday, Oct. 17 | Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve

Dress in your favorite Halloween costume and learn about spooky birds, make a craft, take a tour on the Bird Mobile, and trick-or-treat along our walking path. Watch out for things that go bump in the night!

Spell Candle Carving Workshop | Tuesday, Oct. 20 | Henderson Multigenerational Center

New this year! A spooky craft activity for ghouls 12 and older. Design and anoint your own Halloween spell candle by painting or carving fun symbols and patterns into a taper or pillar candle.

Little Villains Ball | Friday, Oct. 23 | Valley View Recreation Center

Calling all villains! Dress as your favorite Disney villain while celebrating all Hallow's Eve. Bring your dancing feet and your sweet tooth to celebrate the misunderstood. Snacks and refreshments will be served as supplies last.

Pet Trick-or-Treat 1-Mile Walk | Saturday, Oct. 24 | Heritage Bark Park

Show off your pet's Halloween spirit at our annual Trick-or-Treat 1-Mile Walk! Dress up your furry friend and bring a trick-or-treat pail as you stroll along the Heritage Park Trail, collecting doggy treats at fun stations. Try out agility tricks, compete for best costume and best human/pet duo, and join the after-party for more fun and treats! Register per pet for goodies and a special gift.

Join the City of Henderson for the premier safe trick-or-treating event. Put on your costume and follow the trick-or- treat trail in our parking lot where we pass out treats (or tricks) from the trunks of our festively decorated cars. The event includes a variety of activities and entertainment. Children under the age of 3 years are free.

Haunted at the Ranch | Oct. 30 & 31 | Whitney Ranch Indoor Pool

Enjoy two spooky evenings of lawn games, bounce houses, haunting treats, open swim and a movie at the Whitney Ranch Aquatic Complex! Brave a spine-tingling haunted house or a kid-friendly version for younger ghouls. Registration required.
