Bangkok, 4 June 2026 - The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in collaboration with the Bank of Thailand (BOT), the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), and the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), have jointly launched the "Money Story for Influencer" project, inviting influencers to join the project and take part in promoting responsible financial storytelling. Applications are now open from today until 22 June 2026.
The "Money Story for Influencer" project aims to provide influencers who are interested in financial storytelling with the opportunity to learn about and gain an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of regulatory authorities and relevant agencies, as well as various financial, investment, and insurance products. This will enable them to communicate financial information based on quality information in a responsible manner.
Participants will gain knowledge in finance, investment, and insurance through the "Meet with Money Story & Regulators Insight" session, which provides an opportunity for lifestyle influencers to learn about the roles and responsibilities of the SEC, BOT, OIC, and the SET. They will also attend a special panel discussion on the topic of "Guidelines for Responsible Information Provision," to further enhance their understanding of financial and investment matters and support the communication of such information to others in an accurate, appropriate, and responsible manner. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to join a special session, "Meet with Investment & Tax Guru," with Coach Num - Mr. Jakkapong Mespan from The Money Coach page and Mr. Thanom Ketem from the TaxBugnoms page, who will share perspectives on investment and provide guidance on financial and tax management specifically for influencers.
The "Money Story for Influencer" project will be held on two separate days: 25 June 2026 at the SEC, and 2 July 2026 at the SET. Applicants must be influencers from any field (not limited to finance and investment) who are interested in financial storytelling and have a combined following of more than 50,000 accounts across all platforms. Interested persons can find further details and apply from today through 22 June 2026 via the link https://www.sec.or.th/moneystory.
