The WFTU launched a solidarity week with the heroic people of Cuba for the period of 16–22 April 2026.
Through this campaign, members of the WFTU from all over the world organized solidarity initiatives to express their support for the Cuban people in practical ways as well, including the collection of necessary supplies and essential goods, as well as fundraising efforts to support the steadfastness of the Cuban working class.
The support and solidarity of the class-oriented trade union movement do not end with the conclusion of this campaign. The WFTU and its members will continue to intensify their solidarity with Cuba.
