Daytime Full Closure Of El Cerro Boulevard On-Ramp to Southbound I-680 In Danville

Beginning Wednesday, September 9, 2026, daily Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Contra Costa County - Caltrans construction has updated the scheduled closures for soundwall replacement on El Cerro Boulevard along southbound I-680. Full closures of the El Cerro Boulevard on-ramp to southbound I-680 in the Town of Danville will begin Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and will continue daily, Monday through Friday, through September 18, 2026.

  • Location: El Cerro Boulevard on-ramp to southbound I-680
  • Date: Wednesday, September 9, 2026 to Friday, September 18, 2026
  • Time: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Daily

Detour Information
During the temporary closure of the El Cerro Boulevard on ramp:

  • Motorists traveling to southbound I-680 should use alternate nearby on-ramps, including Stone Valley Road or Sycamore Valley Road, asappropriate.
