Deadline to Nominate Employers During National Disability Employment Awareness Month Extended Until October 8

The deadline to submit employer nominations for National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) has been extended to Thursday, October 8. These awards serve as an excellent opportunity to recognize employers across the state who are leading the charge to advance successful careers for Iowans with disabilities.

Iowa Workforce Development (IWD), the Vocational Rehabilitation Services Division, and IowaWORKS highly encourage individuals, community stakeholders, and business organizations to submit nominations. Awards will be announced later this month and feature four unique categories to highlight critical areas such as new business partnerships, cross-sector collaborations, and innovative approaches to hiring and retention.
