Washington, DC - Today, Congresswoman Harriet Hageman (WY-AL) announced her office has successfully resolved more than 6,000 individual cases, returning over $18,000,000 in funds, benefits, reimbursements, or corrections for Wyoming constituents through its federal casework efforts.
Helping constituents navigate the federal government's matrix of bureaucracies is one of the key roles members of Congress fill as elected representatives. Constituent casework involves advocating for individuals from the district who've been impacted by the operations of a federal agency.
"Every case represents an individual constituent who my office helped bring clarity to an otherwise impossibly complicated system of federal agencies," said Rep. Hageman. "Please do not wait to contact my office if you or someone you know needs assistance dealing with the federal government."
Wyoming residents who need assistance with a federal agency, such as the Social Security Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, or Internal Revenue Service, can visit Congresswoman Hageman's website to submit an assistance request.
