Media Advisory: Police Hangar Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at San José Mineta International Airport
The City of San José is excited to host a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Police Hangar at 1114 Coleman Ave. in San José on Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m.
The new Police Hangar is the latest Measure T-funded project completed by the City of San José, following the completion of the new Fire Station 8 in August. Approved by San José voters in 2018, Measure T, the Disaster Preparedness, Public Safety, and Infrastructure Bond, funds critical public safety and infrastructure improvements across San José.
Located at SJC, the new facility features two hangar bays and a dedicated office area. The project will enhance operational readiness, improve response capabilities, and support SJPD's growing needs within the airport environment.
