IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 10, 2026 Chairwoman Barela responds to KOAT on Gabe Vasquez's criticism of gas prices: "Gabe Vasquez's video is nothing more than political theater. He has not said a single word about gas prices reaching record lows for the entire first year of President Trump's presidency. Nor did he offer any criticism when gas prices skyrocketed under Joe Biden. As President Trump has said, the increase in gas prices is a very temporary issue. What Democrats like Gabe Vasquez should be acknowledging is how, thanks to the president, an evil dictator and his regime no longer have the ability to murder millions of innocent citizens and fund terrorism across the world. Rather than record selfies, he should actually do his job and make sure New Mexicans are protected by a fully-funded DHS." - Chairwoman Barela ### |
