SPRING GROVE, MN- Congressman Brad Finstad (MN-01) announced that the City of Spring Grove was awarded $1.5 million for the Spring Grove Fire Department as part of a Community Project Funding request submitted by Congressman Finstad earlier this year. Yesterday, Congressman Finstad contacted Spring Grove Mayor Bryan Wilhemson to notify him of the award.
The award provides $1.5 million to assist in the construction of a new ?re station, enabling the City of Spring Grove to improve ?re and rescue services for its residents.
"Investing in critical infrastructure strengthens the safety and resilience of our communities. It is a true honor to serve in Congress and make sure our ?rst responders have the resources and equipment they need, which is why I was proud to secure this much-needed funding for Spring Grove," said Rep. Finstad. "These federal dollars will assist in the construction of a new ?re station, enhancing emergency response capabilities and supporting ?re and rescue operations throughout the Spring Grove community and its surrounding townships." <_o3a_p>
