Lieutenant Governor Primavera Statement on the Passing of State Senator Faith Winter

DENVER - Lt. Governor Dianne Primavera issued the following statement on the passing of Colorado State Senator Faith Winter.

"I am heartbroken to learn of the tragic loss of Senator Faith Winter. Faith was not only my state senator, but a trusted colleague and a dear friend. We spent years working side-by-side, knocking doors, sharing long days on the campaign trail, and joking that together we made the perfect pair - she was Winter and I was Spring. Faith dedicated her career to lifting up working families, strengthening communities, and fighting for a more equitable Colorado. She was tireless, principled, and brave. Her absence will be felt across our state and by everyone who believed in the work she championed. My thoughts are with her family, her loved ones, and all who are grieving this unimaginable loss," said Lt. Governor Dianne Primavera.
