Lancaster, CA. April 1, 2026 - The City of Lancaster invites the community to celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 11, with a variety of family-friendly activities focused on sustainability, conservation and community pride.
This year's Earth Day celebration reflects Lancaster's ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and the idea that small actions can make a meaningful difference. From hands-on volunteer opportunities to recycling efforts and educational activities, the event is designed to encourage residents to take part in creating a cleaner, greener community.
Earth Day Event Details
Saturday, April 11, 2026
Activities will take place at two locations:
Forrest E. Hull Park
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Lancaster Maintenance Yard
8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
In addition to attending the event, residents are encouraged to support Earth Day year-round through simple everyday actions such as properly sorting trash, recycling and organics, learning more about environmental issues and taking time to explore and appreciate Lancaster's natural surroundings.
