City of Orange Releases New PSA Video to Promote Organics Recycling

The City of Orange is proud to debut a new Public Service Announcement (PSA) video highlighting the City's ongoing efforts to meet California's Senate Bill 1383 (SB 1383) requirements and steps taken to promote a more sustainable future for the community.

The video, funded by CalRecycle, showcases the City's recent investments in composting infrastructure, including the purchase of two new spreader machines. These machines will be used to beautify Orange and distribute nutrient-rich compost and mulch across local parks, medians, and sports fields. The video highlights the new spreaders' role in the City's SB 1383 goals as well as how they enhance the health and aesthetic of its green spaces.

The community is encouraged to watch the video to learn how curbside organic waste is transformed at CR&R's ROAR facility and how the City puts the finished compost to use locally. The City of Orange thanks community members for their continued commitment to responsible solid waste practices and for helping keep Orange clean, green, and sustainable.
