HARRISBURG - The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) today announced the appointment of Amy R. Zuvich of Lancaster as the Director of the Bureau of Administration. Zuvich will replace Director Robert C. Gramola, who recently retired. Zuvich's appointment is effective immediately.

"I am pleased to support the appointment of Amy Zuvich as our new Director of Administration. Amy has dedicated nearly 15 years of service to the Commission, and I am confident this experience will translate into success in her new role," Chairman Steve DeFrank said. "I look forward to working with her, especially as Amy and the Bureau work through implementation of the Commission's five-year strategic plan."

Zuvich has served as the Chief of the Fiscal Operations Division in the Bureau of Administration since 2019, managing all fiscal-related activities of the PUC, as well as the submission of the Commission's annual budget to the Secretary of the Budget and the General Assembly. She previously served as a Fiscal Specialist III and IV in the Bureau of Administration, from 2012 to 2019. In these roles, Zuvich has worked with every PUC Bureau, as well as with other state and federal agencies.

She previously served as a Budget Analyst II in the Department of General Services' Bureau of Financial and Management Services, from 2007 to 2012; an Accountant I for Document Review and Control with the Liquor Control Board Comptroller's Office, from 2006 to 2007; and a Financial Analyst in the Inpatient Finance Department for Select Medical Corp. in Mechanicsburg, from 2005 to 2006.

Zuvich participated in the PUC's professional development program, the Emerging Leaders Class of 2014.

She received her bachelor's degree from Millersville University with a concentration in Finance and Accounting.

Zuvich lives in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, with her partner, TJ, and their 12-year-old daughter, Chesney.

The Bureau of Administration provides support for administrative matters in the daily operation of the Commission. The Bureau is responsible for the preparation of the PUC budget, collection of assessments, contracts, travel-related services, mail distribution, inventory control, automotive services, and the facilities where staff are located.

Zuvich also will manage the administration of collection and disbursement of Act 13 natural gas impact fees to local municipalities and production of an annual report for the General Assembly.
