DALLAS - Tomorrow, July 28, marks the first day of school for students participating in Dallas ISD's Additional Days School Year program. Students across 20 campuses will begin the school year early, giving them additional time to begin strengthening their skills before the traditional school year begins. At 7:15 a.m. tomorrow, media is invited to capture first-day visuals at John Quincy Adams Elementary School. Please contact a member of the Media Relations team to confirm your attendance. Upcoming bond community meeting
Dallas ISD is hosting a 2026 bond community meeting at 6 p.m. tonight, July 27, at L.L. Hotchkiss Elementary School to discuss future improvement plans for district schools. Community members are invited to attend, learn more about upcoming projects, ask questions, and share feedback.

Dallas ISD job fair tomorrow
Job seekers looking to make a difference in education are invited to attend a job fair from 4 to 6 p.m. tomorrow, July 28, at John Lewis Social Justice Academy at Oliver Wendell Holmes. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore a variety of career openings, interview on-site, and connect directly with campus leaders and hiring teams from across Dallas ISD.
