Open Forum Davos 2026 – Visions of 2050: Tomorrow Starts Now

Geneva, Switzerland, January 13, 2026 - As part of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026, this year's Open Forum Davos will convene under the theme "Visions of 2050: Tomorrow Starts Now". The programme is future-oriented, focusing on frontier innovation and actionable insights.

Innovation and technology are reshaping economic growth, driving productivity, competitiveness, and the future of jobs, skills and social cohesion. As we look ahead, a central question emerges: what kind of 2050 are we choosing to build?

Taking place from 19-22 January 2026 at the Swiss Alpine School in Davos, the Open Forum is a publicly accessible event designed to foster dialogue between global thought leaders and the wider public.

Discussions will span a wide range of topics, including the future of mountain regions, what medicine may look like in 2050, and how governance frameworks could evolve over the next 25 years. Additional sessions will delve into understanding quantum reality, the direction of the new space race, and whether rapid advances in medical science could one day allow humans to live to 150 or beyond.

Open Forum Davos panels and sessions represent a diversity or participants and perspectives, including inspiring voices from all walks of life and from different corners of the globe.
