Innovation and entrepreneurial talent converge at EmprendeLab 2025, with the support of CABEI, KfW, and the European Union.

Santo Domingo, October 1, 2025 - As part of EmprendeLab 2025 and thanks to the support of the DINAMICA II Initiative, a tripartite effort by the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), the German government through KfW, and the European Union, US$15,000.00 was allocated to reward five outstanding MSMEs in the categories of: AgroTech, Commerce 4.0, TechnoIndustry, Software, and Creative Industries.

The process included a pitch presentation to an evaluation committee comprised of high-level representatives from the innovation and financing ecosystem, which allowed each venture to validate its proposal, demonstrate its growth potential, and connect with strategic partners.

The winners were: Librería Dylan, Caofé, 3D Génesis, Resix and Ela Content Studio. The resources awarded will encourage companies to consolidate their projects and expand their impact on the national economy.

During the two-day event, more than 2,000 people participated, including entrepreneurs, students, investors, and professionals from the STEAM sector, who attended conferences, entrepreneur panels, and presentations of business success stories, as well as the pitch competition for 100 MSMEs.

As a result, EmprendeLab became a meeting point for creativity and business development in the Dominican Republic, where not only was innovation rewarded, but the foundations were also laid for new ideas to transform strategic sectors, thanks to the growth of MSMEs, providing lessons and models that can be replicated at the regional level.

With this effort, the DINAMICA II Initiative reaffirms its commitment to contributing to economic development and job creation, strengthening the business ecosystem for new, young, and innovative MSMEs, as well as promoting adequate access to financial services.
