President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy accepted letters of credence from newly appointed Ambassadors: Luboš Veselý of the Czech Republic, Lars Hansen of Norway, and Heiko Thoms of Germany.

The Head of State welcomed the ambassadors at the start of their diplomatic missions in Ukraine and held brief talks with each of them.

During his conversation with the Czech Ambassador, the President expressed gratitude for the Czech Republic's consistent support for Ukraine from the very beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion.

They discussed continued bilateral cooperation, particularly in the defense sector. The Czech Republic is interested in implementing joint projects in the defense-industrial complex. The discussion also highlighted the Czech initiative to supply artillery ammunition. By the end of this year, the Czech Republic expects to fully deliver the planned 1.8 million rounds.

Additionally, the sides discussed preparations for events to be held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly at the leader level, as well as holding a joint meeting of Governments in the near future.

"We count on continued support along our path toward the European Union and in pursuing our bilateral interests," said the Head of State.

In his conversation with the Norwegian Ambassador, the President thanked Norway for its financial assistance, which ranks among the highest provided by any partner.

"We are grateful to have such friends. The Norwegian people have welcomed our citizens from the very start of this war. The Government has greatly helped strengthen our army. Thank you for all your support," Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The discussions also covered cooperation in the security and defense sector, joint drone production, capabilities to support NASAMS air defense systems, and deepening bilateral relations.

Special attention was given to continuing energy support, particularly the import of natural gas during winter.

During the conversation with the German Ambassador, the Head of State thanked Germany for its leadership in Europe in providing assistance to Ukraine.

"We are very grateful to your people and your country, and to the entire Government. Over all these years, such strong support - the greatest in Europe - has been provided. And ahead of winter, this is extremely important for us. Thank you for Germany's major role in strengthening our air defense," the President said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Heiko Thoms discussed the need to reinforce the air shield with additional Patriot systems, which Germany, together with Norway, is ready to provide, along with compatible missiles.

The talks also touched upon the development of the PURL initiative, additional funding for producing interceptor drones, long-range drones and missiles, and joint weapons production.
