Northwest Missouri State University is the recipient of a 2026 Givey Award, a recognition given to top-performing partners using a digital giving platform.

Sponsored by Ruffalo Noel Levitz and now in their fourth year, the Givey Awards celebrate the most effective, record-breaking giving day campaigns using Encoura's ScaleFunder platform. The awards honor standout digital fundraising and crowdfunding campaigns while highlighting creativity and donor engagement across the ScaleFunder and Ruffalo Noel Levitz communities.

Northwest was recognized in the category of Engaging Giving Day Videos for a series the institution's Office of University Marketing and Communication produced in collaboration with the Office of University Advancement. The short videos were published to Northwest social media channels to attract support for its record-breaking Bearcat Day of Green last April.

"Northwest Missouri State University drove authentic engagement by putting students front and center in their Giving Day campaign video," Encoura wrote in its announcement of award recipients. "Rather than relying on institutional talking points, the video featured students sharing personal stories about why they chose the university and how donor support impacts their everyday lives."

Two other universities, Montclair State University and the University of North Texas, joined Northwest as honorees in the Engaging Giving Day Videos category. In all, 29 partner institutions throughout the United States were honored in 16 different categories for creative approaches to donor engagement and revenue growth.
