North Dakota Development Fund approves more than $1.1M in Q2 loans to support new childcare facilities

The North Dakota Development Fund (NDDF) approved more than $1.1 million in financing during the second quarter of 2026 to support two childcare projects that will expand access to quality childcare and strengthen North Dakota's workforce.

"Access to affordable, high-quality childcare is critical to supporting North Dakota families, employers and communities," said Brian Opp, CEO of the North Dakota Development Fund. "These investments will help create additional childcare capacity while supporting economic growth across the state."

The following projects received NDDF financing during the second quarter of 2026:

• A Tiny Roar Child Care LLC, Jamestown - Approved for a $146,750 loan to purchase a building for a new childcare facility. The total project cost is $315,000.
• TTRT Holdings LLC, Fargo - Approved for a $1 million loan to construct a new childcare facility. The total project cost is $1 million.

In total, the NDDF approved $1,146,750 in financing during the second quarter, supporting projects with a combined investment of $1,315,000.
