The North Dakota Development Fund (NDDF) approved more than $1.1 million in financing during the second quarter of 2026 to support two childcare projects that will expand access to quality childcare and strengthen North Dakota's workforce.
"Access to affordable, high-quality childcare is critical to supporting North Dakota families, employers and communities," said Brian Opp, CEO of the North Dakota Development Fund. "These investments will help create additional childcare capacity while supporting economic growth across the state."
The following projects received NDDF financing during the second quarter of 2026:
In total, the NDDF approved $1,146,750 in financing during the second quarter, supporting projects with a combined investment of $1,315,000.
The North Dakota Development Fund provides flexible financing to support the growth and expansion of primary sector businesses throughout the state. Through strategic investments, the fund helps businesses create jobs, diversify the economy and strengthen communities across North Dakota.
