NEET 2026 Round 2 Choice Filling Begins: Last Date; Important Instructions

NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 Choice Filling Begins: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially started the choice filling process for NEET UG 2026 Round 2 Counselling. Registration and payment for Round 2 began on September 22, 2026, and will remain open until September 27, 2026 (upto 03:00 PM; payment facility till 06:00 PM Server Time). Meanwhile, the choice filling process runs from September 23, 2026, to September 28, 2026 (till 12:00 Noon Server Time) .

Candidates seeking admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in Deemed/Central Universities, ESIC, AFMC, AIIMS, and JIPMER for MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc Nursing courses can now submit their choices through the official portal (mcc.nic.in).

NEET UG Round 2 Counselling 2026 Important Schedule & Choice Locking Guidelines

Candidates must fill their choices carefully according to their preferred order of colleges and courses. Choice locking will be active from 07:00 PM on September 27, 2026, to 12:00 Noon on September 28, 2026. If a candidate fails to lock choices manually before the deadline, the system will automatically lock the saved choices as per server time.

Important Instructions:

1. Fresh Choice Filling Mandatory: Candidates must fill fresh choices for Round 2, as options filled during Round 1 will not be considered.

2. Review Preferences: Re-check fee structures, location, and bond conditions before locking options. Once locked, preferences cannot be modified.

3. Security Deposit Policy: If you are allotted a seat in Round 2 and choose not to join, your refundable security deposit will be forfeited as per MCC rules.
