On Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., Portland Police Officers assigned to North Precinct responded to a report of a stabbing at North Killingsworth Court and North Albina Avenue. When they arrived, they located an adult female victim who was seriously hurt. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance, treated, and is expected to survive.

Officers gathered information from witnesses about the suspect, who had walked away. Some Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit, who happened to be nearby investigating an unrelated case, overheard the call and responded to assist. PPB located the suspect quickly near North Killingsworth Street and North Minnesota Avenue where she was arrested.

Major Crimes Unit Detectives assumed the investigation and booked Angela Marie Morris, 50, into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of Assault in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon (case number 25-290289). A knife was seized as evidence.

The victim and the suspect were not known to each other.
