WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) met with Louisianans visiting Washington, D.C. at his "Catch Up with Cassidy" event yesterday. The event provided an opportunity for Louisianans from across the state to connect with Senator Cassidy and discuss real issues facing their communities.
"Nobody knows what Louisiana needs better than the folks who live there," said Dr. Cassidy. "These conversations give me exactly what I need to keep delivering real results for our communities."
Attendees included representatives from the City of Minden, the Tulane University School of Medicine, AARP Louisiana, Kipp Public Schools, Louisiana BIO, Franklin Medical Center, the Small Shipyard Grant Coalition, the Mortgage Bankers Association, the Louisiana Independent Pharmacies Association, the Downtown Development District of New Orleans, the Baton Rouge Downtown Development District, the National Limousine Association, and the American Traffic Safety Services Association.
