On April 13, 2026, a meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Beijing between T.R. Midhun, Deputy Secretary-General, and Carlos Aldeco, Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) to China and the DPRK.
The parties exchanged views on priority areas of cooperation in the agricultural sector between the two organizations, including the organization of joint events.
Mutual interest in further expanding interaction was reaffirmed.
