TALLAHASSEE, Fla.- Florida Insurance Commissioner Mike Yaworsky is announcing the registration for the Office of Insurance Regulation's 2026 Insurance Summit is now live. Commissioner Yaworsky encourages interested participants to register now, as early registration closes on Feb. 6. The Summit will be an essential gathering for industry executives, government affairs personnel, actuaries, and legal professionals seeking to understand the present and shape the future of insurance regulation. The Summit will be hosted on April 15-16 in Tallahassee.
"The Office of Insurance Regulation is excited to host the upcoming Insurance Summit in Tallahassee. Our agenda is packed with knowledge and tips from regulators about data calls, complying with emergency orders, the essentials of financial reporting and more as well as national perspectives from other top regulators and experts on artificial intelligence," said Commissioner Mike Yaworsky. "This is an opportunity you will not want to miss. I encourage interested participants to register early, as spots will fill up quickly."
Attendees will hear directly from high-level speakers from OIR, who will share important oversight details and transparency conditions. Additionally, the Summit will feature national perspectives of insurance regulators from across the country and viewpoints of top experts from Florida's universities about the importance of a resilient state. OIR will also be providing staff hours throughout the Summit for participants to ask any questions about property and casualty, life and health, data call procedures and more.
