Traffic Interruption on SR 74 Northbound and Southbound and SR 54 Eastbound and Westbound for Utility Work


What: A contractor for Georgia Power will be removing power poles along SR 74 Northbound and Southbound. During this work, Traffic will be interrupted on SR 74 both Northbound and Southbound. Due to the interruption on SR 74, SR 54 at SR 74 could also experience some interruption both Eastbound and Westbound.

When: Weather permitting, work is scheduled for March 21, 2026 - March 22, 2026, and March 28, 2026 - March 29, 2026.

Where: SR 74 @ SR 54 in Peachtree City, Fayette County


The project consists of 0.492 mile of Reconstruction for Displaced Left Turn on SR 74 at SR 54.

ADVISORY: Dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
