Homicide Detectives Pursuing Active Leads in Tuesday's Fatal Shooting on Mc Gavock Pike
Homicide Unit detectives are pursuing active leads in Tuesday's 11:50 p.m. fatal shooting of Sharif Keller, 43, at a motel on McGavock Pike. The investigation to this point indicates Keller was involved in an argument with another man prior to witnesses hearing a single gunshot.
Evidence at the scene shows Keller and the shooter were staying in separate rooms. Both were vacant when detectives arrived at the scene.
Keller, who was found outside his room, was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he died.
