Sen. Jim Banks (R-Ind.): "When we get back in September, we've got to be serious about this bill; we have to pass it. When I come back home to Indiana, when I go to the grocery store, when I go to church, even my own family, they are mad about it. Why aren't you guys doing anything? It's so simple, as you said, it's an 80/20 issue in this country, not just with republicans, to pass the SAVE America Act."

"A couple of weeks ago there was a story in New Jersey, that the new Democrat Governor, Mickie Sherill, a colleague of mine when I was in the house, she appeared before the media, which is really unbelievable that she, the democrats would admit this, but 6600 non-citizens were accidentally added to the voter rolls in New Jersey and hundreds of them voted in the 2023, and 2024 elections. "The ruling that struck down President Trump's ruling on Birthright citizenship was the worst decision of my lifetime. I think it's going to go down in history as one of those that were so bad and so wrong. Justice Kavanaugh, even though he was on the wrong side of the decision, wrote in his opinion that if Congress or the president declares that these illegals are invaders, that's a specific word from the 14^th Amendment: invaders into our country. Their babies aren't eligible for birthright citizenship…My bill does what the President's new executive order seeks to do: declare an invasion through the act of Congress, and these babies aren't eligible for citizenship per the 14^thAmendment. We need to codify what President Trump has done through executive orders."

"Indiana is the crossroads of America; we have the 3^rd or 4^th most freight-traveled state because of where we are in Indiana, the heartland of America. We have semis going in every direction on our highways, and we keep having these cases: illegals who came into our country under Biden would go to states like California, New York, Pennsylvania was one of the worst as well, went to fake CDL schools and received licenses without even being able to read English. It's unbelievable someone would be allowed behind the wheel of a semitruck who cannot even read our traffic signs; they don't know the customs of the roads, and we have lost way too many Americans to these illegals."

"The Delilah Law says that you have to take the CDL test in English; that's the only way to take it and take away these CDL licenses from those who ate here illegally or on a temporary status and not allow them to drive semi-trucks to begin with. And finally, crack down on some of these states like Pennsylvania, New York and California that are handing out these CDL licenses like candy and take away their highway funding and force them to feel the heat and the pressure of the deaths and catastrophe that they have allowed to happen in states like Indiana."
