Final Report: Train Derailment near Caliente, CA (UPRR Mojave Subdivision) - California

On Friday, September 12th at approximately 01:10 a.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Caliente, CA which has affected the main track. Caliente, CA is approximately 27 miles southeast of Bakersfield, CA. BNSF personnel responded and assessed the affected area. A route around through the siding was established on Friday, September 12th at 07:08 p.m. CDT. The main track was returned to service on Sunday, September 14 at 09:10 p.m. CDT.
