Planting Hope Fun Run/Walk set for Saturday, May 16

The Planting Hope Fun Run is an '80s-themed, family-friendly (almost) 5k FUNdraiser run/walk to support Growing Veterans.

WHO: Everyone!!
WHAT: '80s-themed family-friendly FUNdraiser Run/Walk supporting local nonprofit Growing Veterans.
WHEN: Saturday, May 16 - Arrive at 9:30 a.m. for the 10 a.m. start.
WHERE: WWU Red Square (start and finish line). (Almost) 5K route

$20 registration. Kids Under 12 - FREE!

Kick off the morning by meeting at 9:30 AM in Red Square for the Best '80s Dressed Competition. Come dressed in your brightest, boldest '80s gear for a chance to win big before the run even starts! You can also enter the pre-run raffle featuring prizes donated by our generous sponsors by bringing non-perishable food donations for the WWU students facing food insecurity. Planting Hope Fun Run raises funds for Growing Veterans, an organization dedicated to "empowering veterans to cultivate purpose and belonging by growing food, community, and each other."

Bring your friends, dress up, get moving, and enjoy an incredible day while supporting multiple great causes. After the run, head over to Harrington Field, where the WWU Block Party kicks off at 11 a.m.
